Philip Guerette is a photographer based in Los Angeles. His work focuses on narrative expressions of the human experience through theatrically, and often absurd staged shots.

Recent group and online exhibitions have included The d’Art Center: Delectable 2024 (Honorable Mention), Dab Art Co: Art in The Time Of Corona Vol. 2, A Smith Gallery: Story (chosen for “The 27”), yourdailyphotograph.com(x4), LACP Members Only "Undercurrents", LightReadings Mag (re-)CONNECT, Biafarin Online: Emotions, PhotoSC: Surrealism: The Unusual & Subversive, Art Expo New York/K Art Projects, and Biafarin online: Emptiness.

Born and raised in Maine, Philip moved to New York City after attending The Hartt School to pursue an acting career. He worked regularly on New York and regional stages as well as film and tv, especially drawn to classical theater and independent film. His interest in photography was first inspired by the passionate filmmakers with whom he worked. He wanted to learn how to use a camera to tell his own stories. His work is heavily influenced by his earlier experiences in acting.
